Rescued Turtle – Sea World Orlando

This turtle was rescued off the coast of Florida and brought to Sea World Orlando. He was so entangled with fishing line his front flipper had to be amputated.  I observed him for quite awhile and he seemed to have adapted quite well.  I took these photos in August and at that time it was yet to be determined if he would be released back into the wild or find a permanent home at Sea World Orlando.  Either way he is one lucky turtle.

Today’s Flowers

These flowers are from my balcony.  I used picnik to try and create a dramatic effect.  What do you think?

World Class Walrus

In case you didn’t know, I absolutely love living in Orlando.  These photos are from theSea Lions Tonite show at Sea World Orlando.  My favorite pinniped in the show is the walrus.  I just love this walrus! How can you not?  This walrus can dance, do sit ups, and is by far the best Shamu impersonator you will ever see.  And that sweet face!!! Click here for facts about the beautiful endangered walrus at the National Geographic site.

Positive Thought

This photo was taken at Lava Lands Trail of Molten Lava near Bend, Oregon.

The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.
